Euro 2008 Venues

Euro 2008 First Round matches will be hosted by eight different stadiums across Austria and Switzerland, from 7 June to 18 June. Euro 2008 venues for the Quarter Finals and Semi Finals include Basel’s St. Jakob Park Stadium and the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna. The long-awaited UEFA Euro 2008 Final will be held on Sunday 29 June, at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium.

St. Jakob Park Stadium

St. Jakob Park Stadium in Basel, Switzerland is the Euro 2008 venue that will see the opening First Round Euro 2008 match between Switzerland and Germany on 7 June. It will also play host to two of the four Quarter Finals, and, on 25 June, to one of the two Euro 2008 Semi Finals. The stadium has a capacity of 33,200, with 9,000 standing places.

Ernst Happel Stadium

Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna, Austria will host the UEFE Euro 2008 Final, as well as a Semi Final, and two of the four Quarter Finals. The stadium boasts a massive 49,000 seats.
