Euro 2008 Finals

A total of 16 teams, from four of the seven groups of teams that take part in Euro 2008 qualifying, will participate in the Euro 2008 First Round matches. Quarter Finals

From 19 June to 22 June, four Quarter Finals will be played. Out of the eight teams that make it through the First Round matches in the Euro 2008 Finals, four teams will emerge victorious and go on to battle it out in the Semi Finals.

The first Quarter Final match will kick off at Basel’s St. Jakob Park Stadium in Switzerland, when the winning team from group A plays the runner-up from group B.

The group B winner will play the group A runner-up on 20 June, at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.

The Quarter Final between the winning team from group C and the runner-up from group D is on 21 June, in Basle.

The last Quarter Final of the Euro Finals for 2008 will be played between the group D winner and the runner-up in group C, on 22 June.

Semi Finals

The four winning teams from the Quarter Finals play in the Semi Finals. On 25 June, the group A winner plays the group B winner in Basle. On 26 June, the Vienna group C winner plays the group D winner in Vienna.

Euro 2008 Final

One of the highest points of the football year, the Euro 2008 Final, will be played on Sunday 29 June, at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium. The Final will see a battle for glory between the two nations – out of a total of 52 nations’ teams – that emerge from the Euro 2008 tournament as the Semi Final winners.
